Let’s Doodle + First Sewing Projects

I have been known to dress like a grandma, now I’m attempting to learn some quality grandma skills. 🪡Honestly tho I’ve really enjoyed learning to sew. I wanted to make a cloak for the renaissance festival for my other half and discovered a new passion.

What I’ve learned so far:

🪡 Use the right needle and thread. It’s not one size fits all.

🪡 Learn some basic hand stitching, like the running stitch.

🪡 Learn how to read pattern. (It’s still a work in progress for me.)

🪡Grainline…

🪡 Pre-wash/ shrink fabric.

How I’m liking the doodle feature on Lemon8:

🍋 I love that you can zoom in and drop a color.

🍋 I do not like that you cannot erase a doodle after you hit the check button. It can be a bit bothersome.

🍋 It’s like you can add your own sticker! I LOVE that you can copy the drawing and adjust it like a sticker/ text too.
