IS TAI ER REALLY THAT GOOD?

Finally tried this famous suan cai yu at Jewel yesterday and we waited for 10-15 minutes for our table which is pretty fast! We went around 1+pm ! We ordered:

1. Sauerkraut Fish🐟: $75 (3-4 pax portion)

2. Deep fried glutinous rice cake: $10

3. Fried Chicken Wing: $11

4. Salted Egg Crispy Seaweed: $6

I freaking love their Sauerkraut Fish!! The fish itself was so silky, tender and fresh!! The suan cai taste was good too! A little numbing and spicyness in it and it was flavourful!!! Goes damn well w rice!!! If you can’t eat too spicy is okay too because it is acceptable!!

Their salted egg crispy seaweed was a good appetiser and addictive ! Super crispy but u find it too salty and the salted egg taste wasn’t there!!

Their chicken wing were good !! Juicy and tender meat!! Pair well w their mayonnaise!!

Their fried glutinous rice cake wasn’t v chewy as I expected it but is still okie and goes well w the sweet sauce!

They have free flow of rosella and dried tangerine skin for you which is so refreshing!!

Their rice is good eh those QQ rice and I’ll say for sure TAI ER is worth the try and is very filling too!!! A little pricey but is worth tho!! Definitely need to come here to try this for those who haven try yet!!! I’ll still come back again! You can reserve table through their wechat at xjptaier !!
