Marine Parade MRT Station (TE26) : There's loads to see, eat and do at this MRT stop!!

📍One of Auntie's go-to places after school!! Parkway Parade has a number of MRT opening promos.

📍Auntie also liked going to Roxy Square for the good value mani/pedi, haircuts and of course the FOOD!! Janggut Laksa is the must-eat, also Michelin recommended Junyuan House of Fish (but Auntie hasnt tried). And if your stomach is game enough, you can try Janggut then head down walk thru Roxy square to

📍328 Laksa to compare which is better! And get Auntie fave

📍Kim Choo Rice Dumpling while you are there! 📍End with a dessert gelato at OG branch of Bird of Paradise, or

📍 kopi at Chin Mee Chin Confectionary while you head to the Conserved Terrace Houses for a heritage trail.

📍Seafood allergic folks can opt for Five Star Chicken Rice, this is Auntie's and her fam's fave kampong chicken rice!!

Further afield, 15min walk will get you

📍Mr & Mrs Moghan Prata: Best prata in the East! Crispy but moist and chewy inside! Queues can get up to 45min to 1 hr so go there early cos their dahl curry is super delicious and runs out within 2 hours of opening!

📍Dunman Food Centre has good chinese food, like Tau Kwa Pau and Wanton noodles!

📍Other than a food trail you can also go enjoy the colourful wonderful Peranakan houses just across the road!

📍Dabao some viral Nasi Lemak from Dickson Nasi Lemak and

📍Some traditional Soon Kueh for your friends and family!! Super popular so head there before 3pm before stocks run out!

📍Also you can get high quality A5 Jap Wagyu beef cuts and exotic parts like beef tongues just next door! It's cheaper to buy them here and sear at home, its super good quality and you dont need to be a jap chef to cook them well!

Marine Terrace MRT Station (TE27) : How Auntie wishes she had this MRT station in her schooling days!!

📍Go on a school-spotting trip with your kids or spouse (or future spouse). This is the good schools' stretch from primary school to JC. Every school is indeed a good school here, lol.

📍Makan your brekkie at Blk 50 Hawker Centre! Loads of delicious choices like BCM, lontong, chee cheong fun and congee.

📍To easily get to East Coast Park and the Marina Cove, exit and walk thru the HDBs towards the Expressway, you'll find an underpass which takes you to ECP and the Marina Cove Playground! No more need to wait for that elusive ECP bus that comes every hour! (and sometimes doesnt 😂).

Siglap MRT Station (TE28):

📍Authentic spanish food here at the Next Door Spanish Cafe! (Auntie's colleague recommendation and I have tried and it was really good)

📍The good school-spotting continues here at Victoria School (our ex President SR Nathan studied here)!

📍Auntie's secret tzechar/thai food place at Mandarin Gardens (yes it's inside the condo) has now moved. 🥲 This used to be Auntie's dinner/supper place during late nights in school.

📍Auntie nonetheless has another local tzechar recommendation inside another condo! (albeit more ex so more for special occasions with your fam). Diamond Kitchen has good crab dishes and signature champagne pork ribs, great for family gatherings!

📍There is an underpass behind the Laguna Park condo to East Coast Park! Auntie always cuts thru this underpass via Victoria School so Im not sure if you can do that at the condo, ask the security guard to be safe!

📍Alternatively you can also head to JUMBO Seafood ECP for their crab dishes thru the underpass!

📍Try a bit of wakeboarding since you are there!

📍And get some famed satay and chicken wings for supper at the East Coast Lagoon Hawker!! Auntie's fave hangout after a day out at ECP!!

Bayshore MRT Station (TE29) :

📍Last station but not the least!! You can find old school F&B here like Hua Yu Wee Seafood Restaurant (Auntie used to go there for banquets as a child 🥹) and Ching San Eating House which has old school authentic kopitiam vibes without being hipster (you get what i mean)

📍Make an appointment with Sourdough@East Coast which is a homebase biz for their breads. Auntie just discovered this place so do let me know if you have tried!!

📍Take the underpass behind Bayshore condo to the Extreme Skatepark for some rollerblading!

📍Or go kaypoh Uncles' fishing catches at the Bedok Jetty. If you are an early bird, this place is most lomantic for sunrise. 🥰

For more ideas on what to do at these TEL4 stations, google TEL4 LTA guide to download the brochure/guide that LTA specially created. But for sure it won't be as insider as Auntie's 😉
