This Halloween, the speakeasy goes all-out with its Harry Potter World theme, transforming its hidden entrance and dimly lit rooms into a space straight out of the wizarding world. I felt as though I had stepped straight into Diagon Alley or maybe a cozy corner of a Hogmeade pub. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in a magical ambiance—think flickering “candlelight,” vintage potion bottles, and shelves stacked with magical books that look like they came right from Hogwarts’ library.

The bartenders keep the magic alive, dressed as Hogwarts students and professors, and they expertly craft themed cocktails that pay tribute to the books and films. I tried the “Polyjuice Potion,” a creamy and fruity drink served in a Ravenclaw bottle and topped with frothy foam. Other guests and I also sipped on “Moaning Myrtle’s Tears” and “Butter Beer.”🍻

One of the highlights was the secret room that you could access by solving a clever riddle—it made the night feel like an adventure straight out of the books. The staff’s enthusiasm and attention to detail make it all the more enjoyable, with everything from the wand decor on some drinks to the sorting-themed cocktails designed to fit each Hogwarts house.
