Amazing alternative to the Northern Lights!!✨

Catching the Northern Lights has always been a dream of mine, but it’s so difficult and expensive to fly to places like Norway / Greenland / Iceland to find them🥹

So while planning for my upcoming New Zealand trip, a friend of mine told me about the Southern Lights!! And they are sooo beautiful😍 Not sure why they are not as famous as the northern lights?! It’s my first time hearing of them!

They are easiest to be seen at NZ’s South Island (unfortunately I’m heading the the north island😭). Sadly I don’t think I’ll be able to catch this on my upcoming trip but will definitely add this to my bucket list ! And honestly it’s so much easier to get to NZ from here🙆🏻‍♀️

Hopefully those of you here who are heading to South Island soon will be able to see this amazing sight!!
