Just finished 1984!

Glad to have another classic to call a favorite! Also, didn’t know that Rage Against the Machine got that Testify lyric from this book 😅

The big question around this book is how close to reality it is, just in different ways. After reading about Orwell’s life along side this book, I get shocked at how government ideologies were truly not too different than when this was written in 1949. And that is not good 🫣
