Brunch | Summer Menu | First Watch Order

Today, I tried some items off the First Watch summer menu, and I'd like to tell you about them! 😋

First, we have the Watermelon Wake Up drink: watermelon, pineapple, and lime juices with mint. This drink is very refreshing and very delicious if you enjoy those flavors. 🍉

Next, I will go with our shareable/app, which was the Bacon Cheddar Cornbread: freshly baked cornbread with cheddar & monterey jack cheese, bacon, and scallions. I really enjoyed this cornbread. It had a wonderful whipped honey butter on top, which really brought the flavor together! To me, it was also quite bacony in flavor the more I ate it. 🌽

Lastly, we have my new FAVORITE dish from First Watch. That has to be the Lone Star Brisket Hash: smoked, hand-pulled brisket and house-pickled sweet peppers in a potato hash. Topped with two eggs (your way), cheddar & monterey jack cheeses, fresh smashed avocado, housemade pico de gallo, chipotle aioli and scallions. Served with two warm wheat-corn tortillas. That was a long description, but this entree was so good. I'd like to point out that the housemade "pico" does have corn in it. I opted to leave off the swert peppers too for my personal preference, which they did no problem! 🍳
