Autumn Leaves Collage

Yesterday we went for a hike and picked up lots of leaves along the way. We live in New England so, fall has really started to set in. We took home our leaves and decided to make a collage. To farther enhance the learning experience I read them the book Autumn Leaves while they did their art! The book contained many different pictures and names of all the different leaves so, as part of our activity we tried to identify some of the leaves we had picked up on our hike! This made the activity not only an art activity but science as well! 🍁🍁🍁🍁
