Retail dietitian yay or nay?!

I’m Athirah, a retail dietitian at pharmacy. Yes, in pharmacy it’s not only pharmacist but we got dietitian, nutritionist, health advisor, & physiotherapist. We will work together for a better customer’a health. ✨

But how?

Let’s say if you had an accident, pharmacist will dispense your medication, dietitian will calculate your protein intake & suggested supplement/milk to boost wound healing meanwhile physiotherapist will suggest the mobility aid like walking frame, wheelchair, etc. In pharmacist these healthcare professionals will work in team 💪

Then, what retail dietitian do? We do basic health screening like glucose test, blood pressure, cholesterol, uric acid and advice for dietary modifications accordingly. Customer might not know the food that actually can worsen their condition, hence the dietitian will play a role 🫶🏻
