A newly-opened cafe at Neil Road with warm minimalistic colours like brown and white, beautifully designed with luxurious high-end furnitures. Caracara’s owners are also behind a well-known furniture manufacturing company called “Falcon Incorporation”.

I thought their Wagyu Sukiyaki Don would be a heavy dish but it was surprisingly fresh and light. Colours from the greens stood out making the dish more appealing to the eye and it was a comforting dish.

Another dish that I liked was their pork sando. The pork was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside but juicy tender on the inside. They smeared a hint of wasabi between the bread and the pork which gave a nice warm spiciness to the dish. Really delicious!

Their hiyashi somen looked really beautiful as they plated it with blue pea flowers, fish eggs and radish. However, we felt that the sauce was a little salty.

Overall, will definitely come back again to try their dinner menu which they are still perfecting as it is unreleased. For now, they are only open for lunch from 10am to 6pm. No reservations, walk-in only.
