easily outline anything using Canva Pro~!

I love making things pop in my photos for my Lemon8 posts, and I pretty much use Canva for everything. I do have the premium subscription, which I think is SO worth it, since I use it everyday and it makes my photo editing that much easier. Plus it’s in browser, so it doesn’t get any more convenient than that! I can easily upload photos from my phone and then hop on the laptop and finish editing.

Anyways! Here is the easiest way I have found to quickly outline things in my photos using Canva:

Add your photo to the slide and then click on it and duplicate it.

Go to “Edit Photo” mode and use the background remover tool.

Once that’s done doing its magic, again in Edit Photo, add a Shadows effect.

Change the shadow type to “Outline” and adjust the parameters to you liking. I usually leave everything the same but switch the color to white.

All done! Admire your beautiful outline, which probably took you less than two minutes!

So much easier than bringing it into procreate, or hand drawing the outline, in my opinion. Let me know if you try it out! I’d love to see the results!
