Okay, let’s break down the game that convinced me to try Apple Arcade and has taken over my entire weekend! 

🎋 Japanese Rural Life is a quaint little cozy game with Stardew Valley vibes, except you play as a young person who moves to an old abandoned home in the countryside of Japan, and your mission is to fix up the old place and lead a successful life out in the country without the modern amenities of society, like electricity. 

⛩️ Of course, there is farming and resource gathering for simple crafting tasks. But the real charm is in exploring the area, slowly learning about traditional Japanese culture, and helping the elderly population of the town by fixing up all the old buildings and attractions, hoping to draw more youth to the area so that it doesn’t fizzle out and turn to ruins. 

🎐 I love how there are little facts about some of the items that you see that just teach you about life in rural Japan (especially because I am studying the Japanese language right now!) And it just has a really heartwarming atmosphere to it. I absolutely cannot put it down!
