Okay, so, I know it is not always peanut butter and jelly when it comes to visiting your gynecologist! 😕It can be an anxiety-inducing experience for anyone, but it can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced sexual trauma and abuse in the past.

I have also had to navigate through this as someone who has experienced sexual trauma herself, I understand the importance of finding ways to feel safe and comfortable during these appointments.

I know how challenging it is to deal with these experiences, but it won’t stop me from taking care of my health. I want to share with you some tips and strategies that I find valuable and have supported me. Gradually taking in these steps and implementing them has allowed me to slowly build more confidence and feel more comfortable during my appointments.
