why I’ve DITCHED the SCALE

I no longer let the number on the scale define my worth or happiness. This is just how I feel about what works for me and my relationship with my body. In a world where we're constantly reminded and compared to unrealistic beauty standards, I had to break free from the weight of those digits.

For years, I used to hop on that scale, letting it tell me how I felt about myself. But guess what? I realized that it’s just a number, a tiny part of the bigger picture. It doesn’t measure our kindness, our intelligence, or our resilience.

So why would I let it hold so much power over me? I've learned that my self-worth is not determined by a figure on a scale but by how I feel, how I treat myself, and how I love myself.

Now, I focus on how I feel in my own skin. Am I healthy? Am I strong? Am I taking care of myself? Those are the questions that matter to me.

I've realized that embracing self-love and self-acceptance is a lifelong journey, not a final destination. It's about nourishing my body with food, staying active, and, most importantly, practicing self-compassion.💞
