Why you DO NOT need to major in biology

If I could go back and change anything about my premed experience it would be changing my major in undergrad. Being a first generation premed, I was under the impression that biology was the only major that would satisfy the medical school prerequisites but that's not the case at all. One of the best things you can do for yourself as a premed is to lighten your academic load by choosing a major that grasps your interests and offsets the load of the heavy science courses you will take.
