My first baby was a surprise and then my second baby took lots of effort and prayers. When we decided to try for another I didn’t want the taxing experience again of trying to conceive. And although my journey had been very short and fortunate compared to many others I wanted to do all I could to make things go smoother. Especially because of how hard my pregnancies are I wanted to take care of my body the best I could beforehand! For me this was eating well balanced and nutrient foods and starting on my supplements and minerals. The biggest thing for me was beef liver and I truly think this helped me hormonally. Shortly after starting it my cycles were regulated and I was ovulated normally. Something else I did was begin using a progesterone oil every cycle after I had ovulated. My previous TTC journey my issue was always low progesterone, so I was doing all I could with that to support my body. There are a lot of benefits to doing this! And most importantly, I didn’t stress about it. I think because the idea of having a third but was exciting but also very overwhelming, I was completely at will with God’s peace and timing in when it would happen. I can’t help but wonder if the lack of stress also helped me conceive. 🤎
