gender neutral nursery inspo

This was my first surprise gender, and the one thing I was worried about was making a cute nursery without knowing the gender, however this has quickly become my favorite room in the house! My goal was to buy new as little as possible, I wanted something that didn’t look like every other neutral nursery you see on social media. After finding out I was having a boy I decided to leave it as is, aside from curtains. If I were having a girl I planned to add some color and floral — different crib sheet and some flowers in the vase and on the shelves.

I wanted something above the bed that wasn’t just a sign or name but I couldn’t find anything I loved so that’s when I decided to just make my own banner! I made a girl and boy one and absolutely love it. Definitely encourage you to do some thrifting, get artsy or find artsy friends and family and make a space that’s unique. It doesn’t have to cost $1000 to have your babies room ready. 🤍
