homeschool room reset

We have found a sweet spot of doing homeschool time 3 days a week with my preschooler, so it works best for me to take one day at the beginning of the week to reset our space and prep for the weeks lessons.

This space is VERY well loved, not only is it our homeschool space but my kids use it constantly for any kind of coloring, crafts, sensory bins etc. By the end of the week it’s kind of a mess but I absolutely love all the memories and creativity made in here 🥰

I’m not following a curriculum right now and keep most things play based so it can be a lot of prep and a lot of mess so starting fresh each week helps me feel way more organized and less overwhelmed. I keep my lessons planned in my planner to follow every day and my worksheets and activities for the day handy.

I also try to switch out our shelf activities weekly. I give them 15-20 mins of free time in the middle of our activities just to help with keeping them engaged. This has been working so well for us! 🤍
