Curly hair shampoos are formulated to cleanse and supply deep hydration. They also avoid harsh surfactants, like certain types of sulfates, that strip moisture. Shampooing should leave your hair feeling clean, soft, and ready for conditioner.

I like to use sulfate free shampoo on my curly hair and wash it 2x before using conditioner. Two good washes are all you really need! The shampoo will get rid of all the dirt, oils and bacteria from your scalp and hair!
