This took me a while to post because I struggle with telling my story (triggering). I wish it wasn't so hard for me but I'm also still very much in my healing process ❤️🩹
I will say that I've come a long way and wanted to share what's helped me so far:
1. Stop CHASING (being still was just the beginning for me) and learn to ATTRACT (this has actually become a better practice after the last tip I share at the end of this post)
2. SURRENDERING to God and the present moment- I started reading 'THE POWER OF NOW' 📖 by Eckart Tolle which helped me understand that God IS within the present moment & the key to enlightenment.
3. SURRENDERING to medication- This isn't my favorite part of having mental health issues but if I know one thing it's that I don't really know anything at all so when you're therapist says "You need meds and you're not going to like hearing this but - you need meds for the rest of your life"
It was time to start listening.
4. TRAVELING- And then I discovered what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. TRAVEL. I also learned that I had to BECOME who I wanted to BE. I have believe that I already have what I want to attract. During my trip to PR 🇵🇷 during my depression you wouldn't believe I was struggling the way I was. I was ME again. I was making connections, having fun, laughing, dancing, and reset my mind and spirit.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT BRINGS YOU JOY AND DO THAT AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!
