Common makeup mistakes I did as a beginner! 😅🫣

Hey there, lemonades! Ash here 👋🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

When you were just a beginner in the makeup industry, did you also have some embarassing mistakes you wish you knew earlier? Because unfortunately, I did! (a lot of them 🫠)

To name a few, see photos to see more and maybe you are doing them unintentionally too like I did! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Well, worry less because this post will serve as a guide for beginners and what you could be doing wrong on your makeup routine! 😅💗

What are the things to consider WRONG 🙅🏻‍♀️ in your makeup routine:

❌ Not washing my hands before applying your makeup, especially with bare hands

❌ Not prepping my skin well and diving right into my makeup — this can affect your base routine!

❌ Not being able to distinguish the right foundation shade and applying an even lighter or darker shade than your skin tone!

❌ Skipping eyebrow routine — I was sooo lazy back then to do my brows and I just let it the way it looks (which is super messy 😭)

❌ Overblushing! — Some people still do their blushes too much but that's okay! In my case before, I didn't blend them too well and put on a scary amount of highly pigmented blush! 🤦🏻‍♀️

❌ Not matching my lipstick color with the look i'm hoping for! — sometimes I use a pink tone when i'm aiming for a nude look, or a brown lipstick when i'm into barbie pink makeup look 💄

❌ Lastly is putting too much eyeshadow and not blending them well 😩 — doing this will make your eye makeup messy and crappy!
