Considering there's thousands of stocks you can invest in, deciding which ones are right for you can be complicated.

This is where ETFs shine. An ETF is an exchange-traded fund, which is essentially a "basket" that holds a lot of stocks and crypto.

An ETF that tracks the S&P 500, for example, allows you to invest into a fund that tracks the top 500 companies in the US.

By investing into a fund instead of an individual stock, you're not putting your eggs into one basket, while simultaneously diversifying your portfolio.

2. Where to invest your money?

A brokerage is where you'll actually be investing from.
