Trying the very hyped up Thai Diner | NoLita

Thai Diner is one of the most talked about restaurants in SoHo, so we had to see what the hype was about. The interior is super cool and moody-- and they have a really cool bar! It's really hard to get into, but you can walk up and put your name in.. might take an hour or two to get in, but I think it's definitely worth a try!

- these did NOT live up to the hype, I thought they were soggy and didn't love the sauce

+ Uncle Boon’s Khao Pat Puu (Crab Fried Rice) | $28 | 8/10

- nice chunks of crab throughout and the sauce that it came with 🤌🏻

+ Massaman Neuh | $28 | 8.9/10

- this curry was delicious and tasted so different than how it tasted on the fries, the short rib pulled apart effortlessly and was seasoned very well

+ Uncle Boon’s Famous Coconut Sundae | $10 | 8.5/10

- this was so creamy and delicious, it had the texture of a whipped cream and the taste of a custard

+ Thai Iced Tea | $4 | 6.5/10

- This was good not great, good flavor but I was expecting something different

+ Beer Slushy | $8 | 7.2/10

- The actual beer was nothing too special but the presentation and effect were a fun twist!
