Ditching smart phones

It’s quickly becoming a “trend” to ditch smart phones and I get why. I myself am in the middle of a debate. Social media is full of curated content that usually is fake. It’s loaded with political content, diet culture confusion and lifestyle fads. I have been overwhelmed by all of the information out there and feel pretty done with it. Not to mention the consumerist mindset is toxic. We don’t need to buy the newest thing if what we have is working just fine. Will I actually switch to a flip phone? Idk. But I deleted my facebook and Tik Tok since those apps are the ones that bring me the least joy most often. #whyideleted #stayinformed #socialmediaoverload
