Honestly going out is a bit of a struggle now. Especially when I have a boyfriend I’d rather stay at home with or friends I’d rather go get a real dinner with. The clubs/bars can be over stimulating and feel unnecessary.

But I have found that once in awhile it can definitely be fun! Go out with a trusted friend/s. These friends to me, are wanting to go out to have a good time with the girls! They aren’t really wanting to go out to hook up with a stranger. THE BEST NIGHTS ARE GIRLS NIGHTS! Just go with the intention to dance, laugh, act stupid in front of strangers, and ENJOY yourself. Come home with the squad you went out with 😇

Family / significant others are great to go out with too! Just let loose whoever your people are that help you get out of your little bubble are the best to go out with. They know you and know how to cater to your needs. This can make a safe environment for you to let loose ! 🫶🏼

Set intentions before you go out — this helps you to have clean fun! It’s alright to have a couple of drinks and it’s okay to dance a bit. It’s okay to feel pretty. And it’s okay to meet new people. There have been so many nights I ended up talking to a stranger about God! We are called to be lights so go be a light ☀️

lastly, you know your limits! Have a couple of drinks and once you feel that sweet spot — stop! — have some water if you feel the need to hold something. Treat it like you’re on a run — you’re not going to chug your water in one go — you’ll get a cramp and that’s no fun.
