FOOD SERIES: #2- ALKAVE BISTRO

CUTE CAFE in KOVAN 😋☕️

alkove bistro serves french cuisine in a little cafe and its so lovely.

the interior is gorgeous and the vibes are immaculately chill

what i got:

1. SQUID INK PASTA

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

the sauce was good, nicely salted and the calamari pieces were nicely crispy but overall was quite average imo, but portion size on this dish was just nice too which was great :)

2. AGLIO OLIO

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐️

Quite average and small portion size (at least the prawns werent teeny tiny) other than that it was nicely seasoned and if you like spicy food, you can ask for more spice which they are quite generous with !!

3. SEAFOOD STEW

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now this was the star of the show. They werent stingy with the seafood and the soup was nicely seasoned and flavourful. 100% would go back just for this 🤩.

Overall, the prices here are abit steep and i would NOT recommend the coffee. Food-wise its good and they have a wide selection to order from, the ambience makes it a place I’d go back to when I’m looking for a chill place to have brunch with friends !!
