Legacy of Gods is a series of 6 dark romance interconnected stand-alones. These are college age romances. All the girls are friends and there’s two groups of guys but they all know each other as their families are all filthy wealthy and grew up around each other.

They follow the kids of the Rina Kent universe (I have not read the parents books yet but all 28 are on my TBR)

Depending on your comfort levels you may not find these books suitable. Please please please check your trigger warnings. I read for the vibes and entertainment and am very comfortable knowing this is fiction, I do not condone actions that happen in books and if men like these book men approached anyone in real life I would say contact the police. If you don’t agree that’s completely fine and you don’t have to read the books.

I’m not putting spoilers (I hope) but just my feelings towards each book. I love most of the series and these were mostly 4-5 star reads for me. Again I read for entertainment and am easily entertained.

Ranking:

#1 God of Wrath- THIS BOOK!!! Yes it’s dark romance but the feelings between Jeremy and Cecily were so good. I read it second to God of Malice and if you read any of these it’s the one I recommend. I can’t say too much without basically summarizing the book and spoiling it but the plot the romance the action ugh it gave action movie romance with a hint of criminal minds.

#2 God of Malice- Look I took a deep plunge into dark romance with this being my second dark romance ever after Haunting Adeline 🤭 The first chapter I metaphorically closed the book (read on kindle) and didn’t pick it back up for months. I thought maybe this isn’t for me. I was wrong. Killian is an actual psycho and Glyn is just this sweet “little rabbit” and they should’ve never crossed paths but I’m so glad they did.

#3 God of Fury- This is a MM romance. The struggle of coming out and accepting love from both parties is just *muuah 🤌🏼* This one hurt but ended up soooooo good. If I could put Wrath, Malice, and Fury all at number 1 I would but alas there must be an order. Niko and Bran (Glyn’s older brother and Lan’s twin) hold a very special place in my heart.

#4 God of Ruin- 4th in the series 4th overall. Some say Lan (Bran’s twin and Glyn’s older brother) was much better as a side character and while he is a comedic side character I liked seeing in his head and what actually goes down within the psycho. Mia’s (Niko’s sister) story hurt but in the face of it all the two very unlikely matched end up together and it makes my inner romantic feel happy.

#5 God of War- This one is a bit different than the rest as they are married? But the story in general is a bit different still good but different. Ava and Eli have been a highly anticipated read for me since God of Malice but it did fall a bit flat and that could just be because I had hyped it up so much in my brain. I still loved it but I just expected a little more?

#6 God of Pain- Now look, I get it the broody black cat and overzealous golden retriever trope is usually pretty good but I was so bored with Creighton (Eli’s brother) and Anni (Jeremy’s sister, also the youngest of the group). Don’t get me wrong there was action in the book and the plot was good but idk the vibe just wasn’t there for me and I feel I’m the only one who feels this way. It was hard for me to finish this one but I pride myself on not DNFing books lol.
