GOODBYE JULY

🤍 My Story: july is always a really tough month for me. my dad killed himself almost 21 years ago in september and his birthday was july 21. july is always hard on me. I miss my dad. I miss the past. I miss his voice and his laughter and sense of humor.

🤍 How I Felt: d e p r e s s e d, but it’s okay. tbh to be expected for me this time of year. depression is high and anxiety is manageable (thankfully).

🤍 My Takeaways: just gotta go with the ebbs and flows of life. some time periods are tougher than others. i’ve learned to give myself grace. to talk about how im feeling and struggling. to let people in.
