I have sickle cell, sickle cell does not have me.💜

I’m just a girl living with an invisible illness called sickle cell anemia. I was diagnosed with Sickle cell when I was only 2weeks old & doctors said that my chances of living to see 6yrs old were slim but, here I am today at 22yrs old living my life as if I was going to live forever ♾️. I have so many stories about living with this disease (good & bad) that I want to tell the world to help people understand what it’s like to walk in my shoes every day.#sicklecellawareness #chronicillnesslife #embracevulnerability
