Last minute TODDLER GIFT ideas 🫖📚🏕️

Finding gifts for toddlers can be SO hard (especially when it feels like they have everything). These are some of my 18 month old daughter’s favorite toys that can be found almost anywhere.

🫖 TEA SET: This is perfect for the toddler who likes to pretend play with food, spoons, etc. My daughter is HUGE on “cooking” with me and this tea set is just perfect for her. I remember my great-grandma having tea parties with me when I was a kid and I can’t wait to do so with my daughter soon!

🏕️PLAY TENT: A play tent is such a fun gift to give to any kid over the age of 1. I learned with our play tent that my daughter really likes to have her own space sometimes. I’ll occasionally find her crawled up in her tent playing with her toys and it’s the cutest thing. You can also find a ball pit that is similar to a tent that kids LOVE.

📚BOOKS: You can never go wrong with books! I plan to build a small library for my daughter because I’m a huge book lover myself. She is constantly wanting me to read books to her and loves to point to all the pictures. This Leap Frog one is my favorite BY FAR because it teaches her sounds, objects, and colors. It’s also bilingual and teaches Spanish along with English translations.

🎶MUSIC: Hear me out on this one! Music and kids can be quite…loud. However, they love it so much you can’t help but to give it to them. My daughter absolutely loves her mini piano and drum set. It’s also a great teacher of motor skills and enhances coordination.

I also feel like any toys that are wooden are a good choice for a few reasons:

- wooden toys seem to last longer

- they are often very educational without being overwhelming

- hold up better with the day-to-day use of a toddler

Some of my favorite places to find toys are: Amazon, Walmart, Lovevery, and even thrift stores. Fun fact: one of my daughter’s favorite toys is from the THRIFT STORE!
