Why I got myself a promise ring

if you’ve been here a while you know I was engaged before (no seriously) thankfully I’m not married. But it was one of the most traumatic and stressful relationships of my entire life, I made a promise to myself right after that relationship to not settle again. I’m going to make that person work for a relationship with me and most importantly make them work for me as a future wife and mother of their children. The promise ring has helped me keep myself accountable and not rush things in my current relationship. It’s truly such a great reminder 💕 and it will be a tearful moment when I replace it with an actual engagement ring :)
