expectations vs realities — pregnancy symptoms

Going into pregnancy, I had simple expectations. But of course, it wasn’t anything like I had expected.

When you’re taught about pregnancy symptoms, you’re told the most basic ones — morning sickness, tired, mood swings, cravings, etc. but pregnancy is much more complex than that. Dealing with more extreme symptoms like the pains and cramping, all day sickness, constant nausea and sciatica pains were something I just wasn’t prepared for.

Were your expectations for your early pregnancy symptoms accurate or were you met with different realities? 🫶🏼
