STOP SAYING NO!!!

While watching my walking toddler explore the world around him, I noticed a habit I couldn't ignore - my constant "no's". It seemed like I was saying it all the time and often for things that weren't truly dangerous or harmful. So one day, I stopped myself and thought, "What am I really achieving with all these 'no's'?" I realized I was halting his curiosity and sense of adventure.

So, I made a conscious decision to reserve "no" for the moments that truly matter, like safety risks or hurtful behavior. Now, I just let him have more harmless fun, even if it means a mess or two (or ten!). It's been great to see him explore and learn new things. And I myself have learned to embrace the messiness of toddlerhood, to allow him to explore and enjoy himself in harmless fun!
