things I never thought I’d do as a mom 💗

Before motherhood, I cringed at the thought of spit-up, drool, and boogies - they were the epitome of 🤮 to me! Oddly enough, now if I don’t have anything else nearby I'll literally use my own shirt to clean up these messes. 😂

My pre-mom life was all about freedom and leisure — and the daily naps, sometimes 2 or 3 a day, and I had NO shame! 😩 Motherhood had flipped that world upside down… now I've surprisingly learned to thrive on minimal sleep. The exhaustion is real but I now love my tiny alarm clock who wakes me with the biggest smiles and morning kisses.

And I’m now that mom that plays the same songs on repeat to calm my baby’s cries (& demanding screams.) I've lost count of how many times I've listened to 'The Happy Song'!

Motherhood just has a way of humbling you and what your expectations on life once were. You’re constantly finding yourself doing things you never thought you’d do. You start to realize maybe you were just a bit dramatic before kids (at least I know I was!😂)
