why I take my baby outside *almost* every day 😌

I love the outside.

I love hiking, camping, snowboarding, sledding, fishing, picnics, boating, cliff jumping, and I could list so many more… 🤎

so Cheeky will definitely be raised as an outdoors kiddo. Being outside and getting dirty WAS my childhood so I’m excited to raise my boy this way.

I also love the inside.

I loooove a calm, cozy day inside watching movies, baking or cooking yummy meals, playing board games with family or just doing nothing laying around in the living room. 🤎

I also want to raise my son this way. Especially when we are sick. I want to teach him to rest & revive his body when he’s not feeling well. I’d also like to teach him that he doesn’t have to ALWAYS be productive or doing something. It’s okay to do nothing and be bored.

I believe it’s quite often that kids don’t know how to be bored anymore. The iPad kids are always stimulated in some way — usually w a screen. I truly will not raise my children this way. I’d rather them just be bored and figure out ways of entertaining themselves rather than shoving a screen in their face to keep them entertained.

There should always be a good balance of well everything. 🤎 all about balance babyyyy!
