hi babess ! arissa's here ! today im gonna share some tips i practice on an ongoing basis to help me maintain my weight and body shape (p/s this is my honest experience sharing).

1. intermittent fasting.

IF is really helpful for weight loss, and most people use 16:8 methods, in which you can eat anytime within that 8 hours and the rest 16 hours is ur fasting time. also, do take note of how many calories you should consume per day. i normally start eating at 12pm and my eating time ends by 8pm. during fasting, drink enough of plain water to avoid being overly hungry. always keep track of how many hours you have fasted so you can stay consistent or it can be a progress for u to start fasting more hours because the more hours you fast, the sooner you will see the result. but i am still consistent with the 16:8 method and do calorie deficit.

2. move your body often

i work out every day for the first two weeks of each month because, in addition to maintaining my body weight, i am also aiming to burn body fat. it was difficult at first to keep up with the routine, but sometimes we need to force ourself to get out of the bed and sweat out. to make it easy, look for workouts that are enjoyable to do at home and simple to follow because they will help us to keep consistent and not skip any days. for beginners, u can do workouts at least 2-3 times a week, depends on ur body capability. one way to not skip the routine is by tracking down on the days u did ur workouts and from there u can see ur progress.

3. minimize sugar intake

try do this tip and u will thank me later. give yourself two weeks to completely cut sugars and sweets, and you should be able to lose weight rather quickly. aside, from weight loss, it also aids in the maintenance of healthy skin and the stabilization of your hormones. this is really important because if u dont monitor ur sugar intake properly, it will less likely to achieve ur goal.

4. drink a lot of plain water

i drink 3 to 4 litres of water per day and stay hydrated at all times. if you find it difficult to drink plain water, squeeze some lemon into it to add some flavor while remaining healthy. fun fact : u will no longer crave for anything sweets once you start to drink a lot of plain water. 🫡
