Tips from my fashion designer friend based in Korea!

1) Accessorise. My friend said that if she has to wear a plain black/white tee, she could never go without pairing it with a classic gold necklace.

2) Mood board. She stressed that mood boards are essential in the fashion industry. It provides a visual representation of a designer's concept or vision - they serve as a reference point throughout the design process, helping to ensure consistency and cohesion in the final product.  

A mood board is like your fashion diary. It helps you visualize your aesthetic and gives you a clear direction. When you know what you love, it's easier to create your style.

✨ Tip: Start saving photos to create your own mood board to establish your personal style! The mood board will also reserve as your reference point so you don't go purchasing clothes that you simply wouldn't end up wearing.

3) Buttons. It's a small detail that can affect the look of the clothing. She shared that there was once she had spent 2 hours in a meeting just trying to determine which buttons would complement a top best 🤯
