yupp it is true, Don't judge a book by its cover. but no matter how hard you try, the first impression of yourself is crucial to your image. Tell me, when you first meet someone, how long does it take you to form an impression of them? five minutes of good conversation, you think? Maybe 15? nopee honey, people already inferred several of your personality just within 100 milliseconds after meeting you.

so.. first impressions are made quickly. and, more often than not, you want to make a good one! so here’s some tips you could try, perhaps you’re preparing for a job interview or just attending any social events.

✨Dress appropriately

It's always that way. what you wear greatly contributes to your first impression. People are affected by your appearance , whether or not they realize it and whether or not they think appearance is important. In short, what you wear has consequences!

✨smells nice, but don't wear too much

smells good and feeling refreshed before meeting someone for the first time boosts your self-confidence. make sure that the perfume you wear isn’t too strong though. remember just to smell good, but an intense perfume can irritate the person sitting next to you!

✨Be Authentic

Some people can be remarkably quick to pick up on insincerity, so it pays to be yourself. constantly worrying about whether you are saying or doing the right thing often comes across as insincerity as well. Plus, being authentic means knowing your strengths and weaknesses and communicating them in a considerate way.

✨Don't just stay on your phone.

THIS. the most important thing. I am one of those socially awkward people but it doesn't mean that I can get away with staying on my phone while meeting someone new. because if you constantly do that, you create the impression that you aren’t paying attention. it also seems like you aren’t interested in the other person
