How to build a basic charcuterie board

The number 1 rule of board building is just to spread out colors or like items on the board.

I always add:

seasonal fruit (berries, apples, grapes, etc…)

Veggies (cucumbers, carrots, etc…)

mixes of cheeses (Brie, goat, manchego, etc..)

deli meats (typically salamis)

Crackers or bread

Sometimes nuts or chocolate or chocolate covered nuts

dips, hummus, jams (fig is my favotite)
