Halal Korea Fish Sausage - Mukbang with Aqalili!

Remember sausage snacks from Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo? I've tried 3 Jinju fish Sausages – Tteokbokki, Cheese & Original.

If you watch the first episode on Netflix, you can already spot Bok Joo and her friends eating the sausages (ahem, the finger accident). Of course, that one is not Halal. So, when I got a Halal version of goodies from my friends, I was like… SHOCK!

This one is Halal because they use pollock meat (명태), which is fish-based. Another thing, it’s instant. No need to cook and all you need to do is to grab and eat!

In the video, I mentioned that it would get the original, and the cheese flavour is similar. Just things get cheesier. But it wasn’t that overwhelming (aka muak). There isn’t a fish smell lingering around, but the fish taste is very prominent.

The best out of the three for me is Tteokbokki. I like spicy food and can handle it well, but this one is nice. If I pair it with drinks, it would be Chilsung Cider.

Aside from it tasting good, I found it very convenient and versatile. You can put it in Topokki or even cook it as corndog. I haven’t tried it yet so that I will just grab and bite. 😝
