How I survived traveling with my newborn

I was in desperate need to get out of nyc with my newborn, so my husband and I planned a road trip with our baby! Here are some thing I learned along the way!

1. Give yourself grace! It’s not going to be as relaxing as a vacation pre-baby but the memories are so worth it! It’s okay if the trip does not go exactly as planned!

2. Try for an Airbnb instead of a hotel! This was a life saver for us. We used the fridge and microwave constantly for bottles! Some nights we were way too tired to bring our baby to a restaurant so we opted for take out instead

3. I tried to stick with our baby’s wake up time and bedtime but did not worry as much about the baby’s daytime schedule.
