mountainside elopement

We decided to elope at the mountains! It was the best decision we made. We had just our closest family members with us and an amazing photography couple, Andy and Hannah Hayes-Baker. We got married at 9am and adventured around for some memorable photos.

We wanted more friends and family there, but we really had to think realistically and we just couldn’t afford a traditional wedding. Honestly, I’m not the traditional type anyways…I never saw myself getting married in a church in front of hundreds of people. I always pictured it with my loved ones, wherever.

The mountains and the beach are our happy places. So we decided to drive three hours north to elope and take stunning photos that we will have forever and then drive another 3 hours back home to pack our bags and head back into the car for another 3 hour drive to the cape. It was a long day, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
