everybody just runπ π to get the $π ππππ₯π£π₯πππ ππππ£π¦ π₯ππππ§ π‘π’πͺ. To briefly summarise, I was comparing the $1 FairPrice Truffle Chips to the$1 Meadow Truffle Chips , the winner: fairprice
The reason was very simple, the Meadow one doesn't have the strong truffle smell and was extremely extremely saltyπ₯Ή without much truffle taste... a big no for meπ ββοΈ. I think the Fairprice one has the right balance between being salty - truffle taste and smell, thus it wasn't too overbearing overall
The second round was between my HG $1.85 Calbee Hot & Spicy and $1 Fairprice Hot&Spicy , the winner Fairprice
This was because with almost similar tastes (the fairprice is slight saltier) but they have a very similar spicy levelπ. It now, all comes down to the price, and like.... its $1 - very affordable, and with less amount, I guess I can reduce my chips consumption (maybe). my take is that they are pretty much dupes of each other, with the Calbee being slightly thinner
I guess next time when you get the chips you can decide which to go for!
