are influencers really what they seem?

no, i am not going to name them. im just here to share my story and my thoughts about this whole situation

it all began in november 2023, where i applied to be a social media assistant of this particular influencer through their job application ad on their ig story. i unexpectedly received a reply, in which i responded 2 days after (i thought 2 days to reply an email was a normal timing lol). they did not respond, in which i sent another email as a reminder. yes i was shameless i know but i really wanted to work for them.

they finally agreed to schedule an interview on a specific week but when i responded with my availability, i got ghosted...

i decided not to email them again because i just felt like there was no point trying to work for someone who was not even sincere. the late replies were understandable due to their busy schedule, but i just got the vibes that they just didnt bother replying me. and it really left quite a bad impression because they were someone who's content i really enjoyed.

but hais what was i supposed to do?
