Our Wedding Cake

Our wedding cake was super special as it was all made by loved ones .

The bottom tier was a chocolate biscuit cake known here as a fridge cake . This was made by my aunt . She is known for her fridge cake so wanted it part of my day and also the perfect bottom tier as it’s very heavy .

The second tier is my mom’s famous Oxford lunch . My mom usually makes this at Christmas time and it’s a favorite of mine . So special to have my moms baking as part of the day .

The 3rd tier was made by my cousin . She’s a fabulous baker and a friend as well as family . Also great to have her part of the day .

She also made did the icing of the cake and we both made the flowers pearls and the bow .

The top tier is polystyrene covered in icing . We wanted to make this ahead of time so was perfect to make it fake and also Keep it as a keepsake .

Our wedding had a love bird theme . Peek the back with the love birds and the top tier being a bird cage .

I know bows are super popular right now but I’ve always been obsessed with bows and had to have one on my cake .

My favorite party is that it was a combination of our fav cakes from our fav people . It was personal to us x
