Spring in Japan🌸 | A Roadtrip Itinerary🚗

I just came back from a spring holiday in Japan and thought I’d share my itinerary while it’s still fresh in my head! Here’s a rough outline of the places I visited from 17-30 April 2024.

Caught a morning flight to Tokyo and landed around 1.30pm JP Time. We immediately picked up our rental car and hit the road, covering:

1. Karuizawa: 0.5 Days

- Harunire Terrace

2. Oide Park/Toyama: 1 Day

3. Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route: 1 Day

- Tateyama to Ogizawa

4. Kamikochi: 1 Day

- 9+km trail from Taisho Pond to Myojin Pond

- Stopped over Matsumoto for the night between Kamikochi and Mount Fuji

5. Mount Fuji: 3 Days

- Fuji Shibazakura Festival

- Lake Kawaguchiko/Oishi Park

- Lake Yamanaka

- Gotemba Premium Outlet

6. Tokyo: 3 Days

- FOOOOD HUNTS

- Hitachi Seaside Park

- Harry Potter Studio Tour

Spring in Japan is so much more than just cherry blossoms! We went in the second half of April and managed to catch other flowers in full bloom😻 Hope this helps your future spring trips to Japan🙌
