How we spent 2.5 days in Canggu🍴💆🏻‍♀️☀️🌊

After spending 48h in Uluwatu, we booked a gojek to bring us to Canggu which took us around 1+hours with traffic. Here’s what we did in 2.5 days:

Cafes and Restaurants Visited

1. Penny Lane 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This cafe is very popular and a few of my friends recommended this place and told me it reminded them of the Grounds in Sydney! We were there on a Monday late afternoon and was pleasantly surprised because it wasn’t as crowded as we were expecting.

Food was also pretty good tbh and it was a good meal after quite a bumpy ride travelling from Uluwatu to Canggu.

2. Gyukatsu Tenjin 4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was super excited to try this because anyone who knows me knows beef is my ultimate favourite and a friend recommended this. I made advanced reservations to visit this place on a Monday night. The last time I had such good quality fried beef was in Tokyo and to be able to find something similar in Bali was amazing!! Not to mention the price which is definitely cheaper than what you can find in Singapore for the same quality.

The restaurant isn’t very big so please reserve in advance!

3. Naughty Nuri's Warung Seminyak 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place honestly needs no introduction! The first time I tried Naughty Nuri’s was back in 2014 at their original branch in Ubud and I’ve been missing it ever since. So glad they have now opened multiple branches and we visited the Seminyak branch during our time there. This is a must visit if you’re a fan of pork ribs, I promise you won’t regret it!

4. KYND COMMUNITY SEMINYAK 4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another cafe that needs no introduction but I honestly really enjoyed the açai bowl here😻 We also decided to visit the Seminyak branch because it looked nicer and bigger!

5. Dang! Cookies - Batu Mejan 3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped by this place after our massage as we had some spare time and thoroughly enjoyed the cookies. I would recommend sharing them as they’re quite big and can get very heaty though!

Massages💆🏻‍♀️

1. Tonic Day Spa & Botanicals 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not only is this place aesthetically pretty but we had a very relaxing time here! I opted for an Indian Head Massage and a classic gel pedicure. Advanced reservations are recommended!

2. Spa Bali Moon 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spontaneously decided to go for a 1h foot massage after dinner at Gyukatsu and this was the nearest one that had available slots for 3 people at 9pm at night. We weren’t expecting much tbh but the foot massage was so good we extended it by another half an hour (total 1.5h in the end) because we didn’t want to leave😂 The location is quite ulu and generally feel like it won’t be a place you specially go out of your way to visit but if you’re in the area, why not!

1. Mari Beach Club Bali 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not Recommended

1. Matcha Cafe Bali 1⭐️

Visited this place with an expectation to find a decent cup of matcha latte but was very disappointed😭 I couldn’t taste any matcha at all and it felt like I was drinking water.

2. Love Anchor Market 1⭐️

This was so boring and every shop literally sold the same thing. We were in and out of there in 5 mins😭
