💵3 painless ways to save money effectively!

In this post I want to share some money saving tips that has worked really well for me!

Saving money can be a challenge, but it doesn't have to be painful.

⬇️Here are three painless ways to save money that you can try today

🔵Automate your savings - Set it and forget it method

One of the easiest ways to save money is to set up a direct deposit from your paycheck or bank account to a separate savings account.

This way, you don't have to think about saving or remember to transfer money every month. Every month a portion of my pay goes directly to my investment account in Syfe. This strategy is effective as I will be “ paying myself first”.

The key is to make saving a priority and a habit, and not an afterthought.

🔵Challenge yourself - No spend days

Saving money can be more enjoyable if you turn it into a game or a challenge.

For example, I set aside 3 no spending days in a week as a challenge.

This is a simple but effective way to save money. You simply pick a day (or more) in the week where you don't spend any money at all. No buying coffee/ BBT, eating out, no online shopping.

You can use what you already have at home/ work or get creative and find free activities to do. You'll be surprised at how much money you can save by skipping just one day of spending!

I really enjoy the no spend days as it helps me to rethink my spending habits.

By avoiding unnecessary purchases for a day, we can save money, reduce clutter, and appreciate what we already have. No spend days also show us how we can live on less and still be happy and fulfilled.

🔵Use Shopback and Credit cards

Use Shopback to get cashback on your purchases. Shopback partners with hundreds of merchants to give you a percentage of your spending back. You can withdraw your cashback to your bank account or use it to shop more.

You will be surprised how much cashback can add up over a period of time. Also use credit cards wisely to earn rewards and discounts.

Credit cards can help you save money if you pay your bills on time and take advantage of the perks they offer. In 2022 I managed to earn about 1k from all the sign up promos. 😱
