STYLE GUIDE: 4 ways to wear a VEST!

🍒 Here I’ve got on a purple vest with buttons that allows me to style it in many different ways. I got this vest from a thrift store in Hawaii, which I thought was super cute and easy to style!

Most of the look was paired with a simple white tee, followed with some boyfriend jeans and a plain black flats. Also didn’t forget my basket bag to shove all of my things inside!

Here are 4 different ways I styled my vest:

Look 1: wear it as a top!

In this look I wore the vest plain, without anything to keep it simple and ready to go. I had on a plain white bralette inside to keep it casual, and had the buttons on the vest shut to make it as a regular top.

Look 2: wear it as an outer!

Here I unbuttoned the vest and paired it with a simple white cropped tee to elevate the look. I had the vest on as an outer. You can definitely have it more by styling it with a buttoned shirt or some printed tees.

Look 3: make it a knot!

With this type of vest, I can tie it as a knot and still had on the white tee. You can also opt to not wear the white tee and make the vest looking like a cropped top too!

Look 4: pair it with another outer!

In this look, I took out the white tee, buttoned the vest and just wore it as a top, and I paired it with a denim blouse and wear it as an outer. This is a more comfortable and effortless look to go for if you want to add more complexity to the look but still keeping it casual. 🍒
