Spirituality differences

I’ve seen so many posts on here about witchcraft and Christianity. The one thing I’ve noticed (or just haven’t come across yet) is that no one talks about or mentions what it’s like to be in a part of a religious Christian family or friend group but have the views and beliefs as those who are more “spiritual” I guess?

I have been in the broom closet so to speak because my family is mostly Christian and I don’t want to rock that boat or make anyone uncomfortable. But at the same time- I wish I knew how to co exist with them while still being true to myself. I oblige and say prayers and I don’t make a fuss if they want to say grace. But I feel like the tolerance doesn’t go both ways. I don’t expect anyone to believe what I believe, and I do believe we reap what we sow. But sometimes when the occasional “new age” spiritualism becomes a topic at the table, it’s really hard sometimes to bite my tongue. I get tired of hearing how I will go to hell or that it’s all the work of the devil when I know that the whole reason I even decided to lean into my craft side was because of the love of everything the universe has given us. All in all I don’t see a difference in what anyone believes as I think we are all just trying to do our best, but sometimes I wish I knew how to respectfully stand my ground in my beliefs without cutting down someone else’s.
